Flagler Beach Launches Monthly Meet-Your-City-Government Nights

The City of Flagler Beach is rolling out a new monthly event series aimed at giving residents a direct line to city staff and services. Called “Third Thursday Together,” the program will bring city department representatives face-to-face with community members on the third Thursday of each month.

What It Is and Where It’s Happening

The events will be held at the Wickline Community Center, 700 S. Daytona Ave, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Each month will shine a spotlight on a different set of city departments.

The format is designed to be informal and accessible. Each event will feature tabletop displays from participating departments, open discussion about available city services, printed materials for residents to take home, and a question-and-answer session with department staff on hand.

The city described the series as “a welcoming opportunity to learn about City services, meet department staff, ask questions, and engage in open discussion.”

First Event Is May 21st

The first installment of Third Thursday Together is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026. Three departments will be represented at the kickoff event: the City Manager’s Office, Wastewater, and Facilities Maintenance.

Who It’s For

The city is extending the invitation broadly — to residents, business owners, and community members alike. The stated goals behind the series are to improve transparency, increase awareness of city services, and build stronger connections between the public and local government.

No registration appears to be required. The event is open to all.
