Recovery Organizations Invite the Public to a Free Peer Workshop in St. Augustine This June

Flagler OARS and Discover & Recover St. Johns County have announced their Annual Peer Workshop, set for Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Muscovy Room on the first floor of 200 San Sebastian View in St. Augustine. The event is open to all individuals seeking support, education, and community connection related to recovery from substance use disorder.

What the event offers

The workshop is designed by and for peers — people who have personal experience with substance use disorder and recovery. The full-day program includes peer-led workshops and presentations, networking opportunities, and a focus on mutual support and community building. Attendees will receive continuing education (CEU) credits, along with complimentary food and beverages throughout the day.

Flagler OARS is a recovery support organization based in Bunnell that serves individuals and families in Flagler County affected by substance use disorder. Discover & Recover St. Johns County is a sister organization providing the same type of community-based recovery support services in St. Johns County, operating out of St. Augustine. Both organizations are co-hosting this event as part of their shared mission.
