The Flagler Veteran’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 10am. The route begins at 200 S. Church St. and ends at the Government Services Building for the Veterans Day Ceremony. The purpose of the parade and ceremony is to honor our nation’s Veterans by respectfully and positively recognizing their military service in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines). All entries into this parade MUST include at least one (1) U.S. Veteran, and all assets (vehicles, floats, banners, signage, etc.) MUST have a patriotic or military theme. Any individual or unit determined to have a presentation inconsistent with this parade’s theme may be denied participation in the parade on that basis. The parade may not be used as a platform for any other issue or cause.
At 6 am, there will be a FREE Pancake breakfast for Veterans at the Southern Table 501 S. State St, Bunnell. Seating limited. At 8 am, the parade staging/lineup begins at 200 S. Church St (Historic Bunnell City Hall). Restrooms provided in staging area. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00AM. The parade will conclude at the Flagler Government Services Building around 11:15 am at 1769 E. Moody Blvd, Bunnell, where a Veterans Day Ceremony and Picnic will take place. The public is encouraged to attend immediately following the parade.
