Competition continued Tuesday at the M15 Palm Coast Open, part of the ITF World Tennis Tour, with men’s singles matches and first-round doubles play taking place at the Southern Recreation Center at 1290 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast.
In singles action, top-seeded Lachlan McFadzean of Australia advanced with a victory over Reid Jarvis of the United States. Other American players advancing included Henry Lieberman, Jerrid Gaines Jr., Dillon Beckles, Teodor Davidov, and Nikolas Stoot, all of whom delivered strong performances throughout the day. Felipe De Dios of Argentina also moved forward in the draw.
Doubles competition got underway on Tuesday as well. The top-seeded duo of Tommaso Compagnucci of Italy and Manuel Mouilleron Salvo of Argentina opened with a straight-set win. Aleksa Ciric of Serbia and Dian Nedev of Bulgaria also advanced, as did the team of James Connel of Great Britain and Patrick Kotan of Australia.
Singles and doubles matches will continue throughout the week as professional players from around the world compete in Palm Coast.
