Flagler Schools announced that graduation rates for the 2024-2025 school year have increased across the district, with both high schools showing improvement over the previous year.
The results, released on January 13, show the overall Flagler Schools graduation rate rose from 89 percent in 2023-2024 to 90 percent in 2024-2025. Flagler Palm Coast High School’s graduation rate increased from 88% to 89%, while Matanzas High School’s rate climbed from 91% to 92%.
District officials attribute the gains to maintaining high expectations, fostering safe and supportive learning environments, and embracing innovative approaches to ensure students are prepared to succeed. The district emphasized its focus on working collaboratively with families and the community while keeping students as the priority.

According to the district, these graduation outcomes move Flagler Schools closer to its vision of being a premier learning organization where all students graduate with the skills, knowledge, and character necessary to achieve their maximum potential. Officials said the progress reflects the dedication of students, faculty, staff, and district administrators who strive for excellence while building trust, respect, and opportunities for all.
Flagler Schools expressed pride in the Class of 2025 and gratitude to the entire school community for supporting students on their journey to graduation.
