Rock & Walk for Children: A Heartfelt Gathering to Support Bereaved Families
The Tears Foundation is proud to announce the upcoming Rock & Walk event, scheduled for April 13, 2024, at 4 pm at Central Park Town Center, 975 Central Ave, Palm Coast, FL 32164. This event serves as a powerful symbol of solidarity and support for families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.
The Rock & Walk event, at its core, aims to let bereaved families know that they are not alone in their grief. By bringing the community together, we strive to build awareness about the profound impact of pregnancy and infant loss and provide a platform for shared healing. Participants can choose to either rock in chairs or walk laps, creating a symbolic gesture of unity and compassion.
As we navigate the path lined with butterflies bearing the names of cherished children, we are reminded that hope can be found even in the face of profound loss. The event becomes a celebration of the lives of these precious children, fostering a sense of community and uplifting those who may be struggling with grief.
1 in 4 families experience pregnancy or infant loss, emphasizing the critical need for support and understanding in our communities. The Tears Foundation relies on the generosity of donations and community support to provide essential resources for these grieving families.
“We believe in coming together as a community to support these families and honor their children,” says Tiffany Grimes, Director of The Palm Coast Tears Foundation. “The Rock & Walk event is not only an opportunity to raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss but also a chance for the community to rally around these families and provide the support they need.”
