Seniors Step Back in Time at Palm Coast Homecoming Dance

Favorite songs filled the room and corsages were pinned in place as residents of Artis Senior Living of Palm Coast took to the dance floor for a homecoming celebration that brought cherished memories to life.

The community, located at 2 Corporate Drive in Palm Coast, hosted the homecoming dance for residents and their families. Guests dressed in formal dresses, jackets, and ties. A DJ played music residents remembered from years past, while a photo booth, a punch bowl, and dancing recreated the timeless spirit of a school homecoming.

“This homecoming is a beautiful reflection of what we believe at Artis: honoring yesterday and celebrating today,” said Ava Kahoud, director of life enrichment for Artis Senior Living of Palm Coast. “A familiar song or a cherished tradition can bring back wonderful memories, while sharing the dance floor with family and friends creates joyful new moments to treasure.”

Residents including Laura Rey, Luis Pozo, John Kordek, and Joan Sell joined in the celebration, with some dancing alongside staff members such as concierge Jamie Rubolino as the DJ played old favorites.
