Dakoda Nodelman, 16, of Palm Coast, who was arrested by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office following a violent robbery in November 2025 and later charged with robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by juvenile delinquent, and attempted robbery with a firearm, has been convicted and sentenced.

On September 8, 2026, Nodelman pleaded no contest to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by juvenile delinquent, and attempted robbery with a firearm. At a sentencing hearing, Circuit Judge Dawn Nichols found him guilty on each count and sentenced him to two years in state prison followed by four years of probation.

“Guns in the hands of criminals are a recipe for disaster, especially when those criminals are teens. I commend our team for putting the pieces of this puzzle together quickly to hold those responsible accountable,” said Sheriff Rick Staly.

Nodelman is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he awaits transfer to the custody of the Florida Department of Corrections.

Nodelman’s sister, Kyrahlynn Nodelman, was also arrested in this case and charged with principal to robbery, a first-degree felony that carries a 30-year prison sentence.

Court proceedings for the third defendant in this case, Eva Nguyen, 19, of Palm Coast, are still pending. She was charged with principal to robbery with a firearm.
