Free Car Seat Safety Check Coming to Palm Coast Fire Station in June — Appointments Required

The Palm Coast Fire Department, in partnership with Safe Kids Florida, is offering a free car seat inspection event on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Fire Station 25. Appointments are required, and space is limited.

What to Expect

The event will be set up as a drive-through. Vehicles will be directed to the rear of Fire Station 25, pass through the apparatus bay for a car seat inspection, and exit onto Belle Terre Parkway heading north.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to check car seat installations, make sure seats are properly fitted for each child, and answer any questions about keeping children safe while riding in a vehicle. Each family will receive one-on-one attention.

The event is being held as part of a Child Passenger Safety Technician training course hosted by the fire department.

Who Should Attend

The city is encouraging parents, grandparents, and caregivers to register. Studies have consistently shown that a large percentage of car seats are not installed correctly, and an improperly installed seat may not protect a child in a crash.

How to Register

Appointments are required. Residents can sign up at the event registration page: https://secure.rec1.com/FL/palm-coast-fl/catalog/index/ef92d6c2d575c4d524e4175abd516347?filter=c2VhcmNoPWNhciUyMHNlYXQ=

The event is free of charge.
