Free Event in Palm Coast to Help Residents Plan for Retirement, Estates, and Giving Back

The Flagler County Education Foundation is hosting a free, one-hour community event on June 9, 2026, focused on financial planning, estate preparation, and charitable giving. The event, titled “Designing Your Legacy,” is open to the public but requires an RSVP due to limited seating.

When, Where, and Who

The event runs from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center, Waterfront Room, located at 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Palm Coast, FL 32137. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

The program is being organized by the Flagler County Education Foundation in partnership with local financial advisor Mark Kraus of Innovative Financial Solutions. Kraus holds several professional designations in financial and estate planning, including CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®, and RICP®.

What Will Be Covered

According to organizers, the discussion is designed to help attendees understand how financial and estate planning can line up with their personal values while also making a difference in the local community. Topics will include protecting your legacy, tax-smart giving, supporting education, and planning with clarity.

The event is framed not just as a conversation about preserving wealth, but also as a chance to reflect on what matters most and consider how personal finances can support the community’s future.

Who It’s For

The event is aimed at individuals and families who want to better understand how to protect their assets, approach charitable giving with more confidence, and think about the long-term impact of their financial decisions. No prior knowledge of financial planning is required.

Seating is limited, so an RSVP is required. Community members can register online at https://tinyurl.com/FICEF or by scanning the event’s QR code. For more information, the Flagler County Education Foundation can be reached at 386-437-7526 or elliss@flaglerschools.com.
