Flagler Beach Gears Up for a Full Weekend of Fourth of July Festivities

The City of Flagler Beach has announced a full weekend of events to mark Independence Day 2026, with activities planned for both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. The lineup includes a community kickoff event, the city’s annual parade, and family games in the park.

Friday Night Kicks Things Off

The holiday weekend gets started on the evening of Friday, July 3, with First Friday at Veterans Park, beginning at 6:00 PM. The event is described as an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy local vendors, music, and time with the community. First Friday events are a regular fixture in Flagler Beach, and this edition serves as a lead-in to the Fourth of July celebrations the following morning.

Parade Takes Center Stage on the Fourth

On the morning of Saturday, July 4, the Independence Day Parade will step off at 9:00 AM. The parade is hosted and organized by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach and brings together community groups, local organizations, and area partners each year.

Those interested in participating in the parade can sign up through Eventbrite. According to the city’s announcement, attendees should go to Eventbrite.com and search “Flagler Beach Fourth of July Parade” to register a spot in the procession.

Family Games Follow the Parade

After the parade wraps up, families are invited to Veterans Park for a block of games and activities running from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event is open to children and families and is billed as a chance to enjoy a “playful and patriotic midsummer day in the park.”

Who’s Behind the Events

This year’s celebrations are made possible with support from three groups: the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach, Surf 97.3 FM, and the City of Flagler Beach Parks Committee. The city encouraged all residents and visitors to take part in what it described as “a spirited weekend of celebration, community pride, and recognition of our nation’s independence.”
