Twenty Palm Coast Residents Graduate From 59th Citizens Academy Class

The City of Palm Coast recognized twenty residents as graduates of the 59th session of the Palm Coast Citizens Academy during the May 5, 2026, City Council Business Meeting. The spring session ran from March 23 through early May, giving participants a firsthand look at how local government works.

Over the course of several weeks, graduates toured city departments, met with elected officials and department directors, and participated in interactive sessions covering a wide range of city operations. Departments explored during the session included Utilities, Stormwater and Engineering, Financial Services, Parks and Recreation, Community Development, Public Works, and the Fire Department.

Graduates of the 59th session are Anjanette Stuart, Ashley Katz, Cat Neis, Cathy Moon, Chris Hansen, Christine Carter, Diana Tsai, Dylana Galery, Esther Rita Page, Frank Pfeiffer, George Carofine, Greg Zarobsky, Jadzia Waloch, Jeannette Mendoza, Julia Walthall, Kathryn Summerlot, Lisa Frye Hansen, Milotka Vogt, Mimose Allen, Ron Kovac, Sheldon Keller, Stephanie Giumenta, and Victoria Pfeiffer.

City Manager Mike McGlothlin congratulated the graduates and encouraged more residents to get involved. “Programs like this help strengthen the connection between residents and their local government by creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, transparency, and understanding,” McGlothlin said. “We encourage anyone interested in learning more about how Palm Coast operates to sign up for our upcoming fall session.”

The Citizens Academy is free and offered twice a year — a spring evening session and a fall afternoon session. Each session accepts up to 30 participants and is organized by the city’s Communications and Marketing Department. Residents interested in signing up for the next session can register at www.palmcoast.gov/citizensacademy.
