The City of Palm Coast is introducing a new community event called Beats & Eats, set to debut on Wednesday, May 28, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Stage. The event is free and open to residents and visitors of all ages.
Beats & Eats is designed to combine two existing city offerings — food truck events and live outdoor concerts — into a single evening experience. The city says the goal is to create a more engaging atmosphere that encourages attendees to stay longer and enjoy an evening of food, music, and community connection.
The first event will feature a live performance by Soul Fire, along with a selection of food trucks offering a variety of dining options. Details on which food trucks will be on-site have not yet been announced.
James Hirst, the City’s Director of Parks and Recreation, said the new event builds on what has already been working well. “Beats & Eats represents the evolution of two successful events into one elevated experience,” Hirst said. “We’re excited to bring residents together in a setting that combines great food, live music, and a strong sense of community.”
Each Beats & Eats event will also spotlight a local nonprofit through a built-in beneficiary program. The nonprofit selected for the May 28 debut is the Hispanic American Cultural Association, an organization focused on celebrating culture, promoting education, and serving the local community.
