Right at Home In-Home Care & Assistance is sponsoring a holiday adoption program that invites community members to grant wishes for residents of Gold Choice Senior Communities during the Christmas season.
The “Adopt a Resident” program allows people to select a senior from a special tree and provide gifts to fulfill their holiday wishes. Participants can choose to grant all of a resident’s wishes or just one, bringing holiday cheer to seniors in the community.
How to Participate
Community members interested in adopting a resident for the holidays can visit one of two locations between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to choose a senior from the tree. The locations are Lotus Funeral Services at 460 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Suite 3, in Palm Coast, and Parkside Realty Group at 145 City Place, Suite 104, in Palm Coast.
The deadline to adopt a resident and provide gifts is December 10. Participants should select a senior’s information from the tree and purchase items from their wish list before the deadline.
Gift Opening Celebration
A party is scheduled for December 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Gold Choice Palm Coast, located at 3830 Old Kings Road in Palm Coast. During this celebration, senior residents will receive and open their gifts from their adopted sponsors.
The event brings together community generosity with the needs of senior residents, creating meaningful connections during the holiday season. Gold Choice Senior Communities emphasizes dignity, comfort, and value in its services, making the holiday adoption program align with its mission to care for residents.
