Flagler County Seeks Public Input on 10-Year Transit Development Plan

Flagler County Public Transportation is asking residents to complete a five-minute survey as part of an update to its Transit Development Plan, a blueprint for transit improvements over the next decade.

The TDP serves as a planning and operational guide for transit providers, identifying public transportation needs and outlining strategies to address them. Florida law requires agencies that receive transit grant funds from the Florida Department of Transportation to maintain these plans, as specified in sections 341.052(1) and (2) of Florida Statutes and detailed in the State of Florida’s Public Transit Rule (14-73.001).

The survey, available at https://tinyurl.com/FlaglerTransitPlan, asks residents to share their travel experiences and offer suggestions for improving public transportation in Flagler County.

The Board of County Commissioners will discuss the Transit Development Plan during its regular meeting at 9 a.m. on December 1.
