Palm Coast’s Hall of Terror Draws Over 5,000 Visitors in Two Days

The City of Palm Coast’s Hall of Terror event, presented by the Palm Coast Fire Department, attracted more than 5,000 attendees during its two-day run on Oct. 30-31.

First launched in 2001, this haunted-house-style event has steadily grown each year, consistently setting new attendance records. The 2025 event continued that tradition.

This year’s Hall of Terror immersed guests in the horror classic Friday the 13th. From detailed sets and props to costumes and characters, including the legendary Jason Voorhees, every element was designed to bring the franchise to life and keep guests on edge both inside and outside the attraction. While Jason has appeared in past years, this was the first time the event was fully dedicated to the Friday the 13th universe.

“The 2025 Hall of Terror was a rousing success, and we’re glad to see so many members of the community having a great time yet again as we brought this classic franchise to life,” said event director Dan Driscoll. “A quarter century in, it’s amazing to see this event that former Chief Jerry Forte and former Lt. Rich Cline created has lived on and become a real tradition here in our city.”

The Fire Department received significant help from community volunteers this year. Local high school students and residents stepped into roles both in front of and behind the scenes, serving as costumed characters and technical crew to help bring the horror experience to life.

The Hall of Terror will return to Fire Station 21 on Oct. 30-31, 2026. The theme remains a mystery for now, but organizers say the scares are already in the works.
