Tuesday August 29th, 2023 at 9am, the Palm Coast City Council will hold a special budget workshop meeting. During the meeting they will discuss the final proposed budget for all appropriated funds and fleet.
The Agenda items are as follows:
- The Financial Services Department will present the final proposed budget for all appropriated funds. On July 18, 2023, the Council set the proposed maximum millage rate for Fiscal Year 2024 at 4.2570, the rollback rate, and scheduled the tentative budget hearing for September 7, 2023, at 5:15 PM. On July 25, 2023, the City Council received the Proprietary Funds Budget presentation for Fiscal Year 2023. On August 8, 2023, staff presented the General Fund Budget at the rollback millage rate of 4.2570 and City Council also received the Capital, Internal Services, Special Revenue Funds, and Proposed Budget for All Remaining Funds for Fiscal Year 2023.
- The Public Works Department will present a resolution approving the Fiscal Year 2024 Fleet Replacement/Purchase Program and associated purchase orders for fleet vehicles and equipment as provided in the FY2024 Budget.
Public participation is always encouraged. There will be two time slots for public participation, at the beginning and end of the meeting. Residents should attend if possible and make their voices heard.
